Dead battery, locked door, flat tire, empty tank

Four calls that almost never need a tow. A mobile tech comes to you in Lakeland, Winter Haven, Auburndale or Bartow, fixes it on the shoulder or in the parking lot, and you're back on the road.

Four jobs, one truck, no drama

Florida's heat is hard on batteries and tires in a way drivers from cooler states don't expect. High under-hood temperatures shorten battery life, and daily heat cycling stresses tire sidewalls, which is why we run more jump-starts and flat-tire calls through Lakeland parking lots in summer than almost any other roadside job. Add in the afternoon thunderstorms that build over Polk County nearly every day from June through September, and hydroplaning-related flats and dead batteries left running with the AC on full blast both spike at the same time of year.

Jump-Start

We test the battery on the spot, not just jump it and drive off. If the battery is holding a charge afterward, you're done. If it's not, we tell you before you're stranded again an hour later, and you decide whether to limp to a parts store or have us tow to a shop instead. $45 to $65 flat, most jump-starts take under 15 minutes once the truck arrives.

Lockout Service

Keys locked in the car, a fob that died, or a trunk that won't pop. We use non-destructive entry tools on the vast majority of makes and models. Older vehicles or aftermarket security systems occasionally take longer. $50 to $75 flat, depending on vehicle and lock type.

Flat Tire Change

We mount your spare or a donut if you've got one. If you don't have a usable spare, we tell you that up front so you can decide between a tow to a tire shop or waiting for us to source a replacement, which takes longer and costs more. $50 to $80 flat for a standard spare swap.

Fuel Delivery

Ran dry between Auburndale and the Polk Parkway with no exit in sight. We bring enough gas or diesel to get you to the nearest station, plus the fuel cost itself. $55 to $85 flat for the service call, plus the fuel at pump price.

What makes it take longer

Three things push a roadside call past the usual window. A vehicle stopped in a live travel lane instead of on the shoulder means our tech waits for a safe gap or FHP traffic control before approaching. A locking lug nut with no key on hand for a flat tire means we have to source or drill it out, which adds real time. And a battery that's completely dead with a parasitic drain somewhere in the electrical system might not hold a jump at all, in which case we're honest that it's a tow, not a fix, before you pay for a jump that won't last.

One limit worth knowing: we don't carry every tire size in every truck. If your spare is missing or your tire size is uncommon, expect us to recommend a tow to the nearest shop instead of a roadside mount.
Will a jump-start actually fix my car or just get me to a parts store?

We test the battery after the jump. If it's healthy, you're fixed. If it's failing, we say so and you choose the next step instead of finding out you're stranded again a mile down the road.

Do you carry gas on the truck already?

Yes, our roadside units carry both gasoline and diesel so we don't have to make a second stop before reaching you.

What if my car won't start even after the jump?

Then it's likely the starter, alternator, or a deeper electrical issue, not the battery. We quote a tow to your shop of choice at that point instead of running the jump again.
